When Secret Supper returned to Poggio Belvedere this spring, it marked the beginning of something timeless.

For one unforgettable week, a group of culinary adventurers arrived in the Umbrian hills to eat, drink, and discover — in places few travelers ever reach. Hosted and fully curated by Vero in Italy, the estate became their base, and the countryside their playground.

A PRIVATE ESTATE, AN IMMERSIVE WEEK

This was no hotel stay. This was a full takeover of Poggio Belvedere — where every detail was designed to create connection and allow the magic of place to unfold.

Guests arrived to handmade welcome baskets and views over rolling hills. They kicked off the week with an intimate dinner inside a neighboring Umbrian castle, where a local winemaker led the table through a private tasting. That set the tone for everything that followed.

Each day brought something new — curated by our team based entirely on Secret Supper’s values, style, and goals for the week.

Guests rode through Assisi in vintage tuk-tuks. They foraged for black truffles deep in Umbrian forests. They wandered the medieval lanes of Montepulciano and bathed in the thermal springs of Bagno Vignoni. They toured Montalcino’s most exclusive wine cellars, tasted vertical Brunellos, and met the people behind the bottles.

Evenings unfolded with private chefs, immersive cooking classes, and long-table dinners under the stars.
